Daria Vasileva is award winning artist and fashion illustrator, who creates highly crafted, hand painted, elegant artworks, where she combines world of fashion with classical art. Women and fashion are two main themes of her artworks since they have always served as constant source of inspiration for her. Her style is both simple and complex, and precisely detailed, with bold colors, fluid lines, vintage aesthetics, and puzzled atmosphere. She captures interaction between characters and fashion in everyday situations beyond fashion shows, where the narrative, emotions, and sheer beauty of the moment take center stage alongside with depiction of fashion and decorations.
Daria’s artworks were chosen among 10 Top Artists in International Illustration Fashion Week 2024 by FIDA. Also, here illustrations were selected to be featured in the “100 Emerging Artworks of 2023”, the annual publication by Arts to Hearts project.
Daria prefers to work with traditional mediums. All her artworks are hand-painted with watercolors, the medium that gives incredible texture and transparency.
